Missed Appointment—STAR Writing test, 1^st truancy

Use for those who did not show up for the STAR writing test on either day after stating they would, they would not let you go to their home to test them, and they do not have a waiver on file (check in ES Webfiles). This is only for a 1^st truancy.

Dear xxxxx-

After speaking with my advisor, since xxxxx missed taking the STAR Writing test, I am required to issue a first truancy.  A truancy letter will be sent to you in the mail in a few days.  My advisor confirmed with the office that there is no waiver on file for xxxxx per your previous statements.  

I sent you email reminders a few times, and also spoke with you about this at the beginning of the school year reminding you that when a student is in 4th or 7th grade, that they have the additional writing test to attend to and never heard you say that you didn't plan on bringing xxxxx to the testing.

The STAR Testing dates are coming soon and I want to confirm your date and location now for the STAR Testing:
