Ordering Magazine Subscriptions

(Purchase Orders)

An ES can order a subscription on a regular PO, one order per family as with all POs, at any time your family wishes to request an approved subscription. Multiple subscriptions for the same family may be ordered on the same PO. Refer to the approved subscription list on the web (under curriculum) to find the vendor, item, price, and all info you need to include on the PO.

The subscription materials will be sent by the vendor monthly or weekly directly to the ES at the home address listed in the database. Please check to see if the database has your correct address and telephone number. This will ensure that these dated materials arrive in a timely manner.

If a subscription is ordered and then the family transfers to a "new" ES, the "new" ES and the "old" ES will need to work out between themselves how to transfer the materials monthly (or weekly). This may cause a delay in delivery of the subscription materials to the family.

If a subscription is ordered and the ordering ES resigns, the school will not be able to help in this situation.

Vendor Relations can not be responsible for the tracking of the subscription materials, and is not able to answer any questions about the completed PO subscription orders. Subscription orders are placed at a risk that the items may or may not arrive correctly. Please be sure you are ready to accept missing an issue or two or sometimes the entire subscription, before placing an order. Magazine vendors do not track our PO orders individually, so the ES should not contact the vendor either or that may jeopardize our ability to use them as a vendor.
