Role Clarifications
Advisors: provide interpretation of policies and procedures,
assist with parent issues, conduct question “triage”.
AFs (Area Facilitators): present agenda information, facilitate networking
and coordinate local group issues
Buddies:
* Buddies may share organizational/scheduling
tips, offer curriculum/vendor suggestions, review agendas before or after
ES meetings, and discuss established processes like setting up a CP
* Buddies can not provide advice about procedural or policy issues;
nor can they intervene in interpersonal situations with parents, school staff
or other ESs
