OdysseyWare Information and FAQ’s
OdysseyWare provides online curriculum that supports traditional learning modules at an individualized pace.
Two Ways to Purchase:
Allows students to purchase individual courses.
Example: 1-Year Course (10 units) = $150; or 1 Year Course (13 units) = $195
- 1-year course can be purchased by the year, or by the semester. There are two semesters in a 1-year course.
- First half semester = 5 units at $15/unit = $75/semester, or 6 units at $15/unit =
- Second half semester = 5 units at $15/unit=$75/semester
- Specify in body of PO for first half of 1-year course: “Units 1-5; block units 6-10”
Or, “Units 1-6, block units 7-13”
- Specify in body of PO for second half of 1-year course: “Units 6-10; block units 1-5”
Or, “Units 7-13; block units 1-6”
- Any “other semester” units not being used must be blocked. If not blocked, students who click in any of the “other” units will be charged $15/unit.
- If the course is 13 units, then the first semester PO would read, “Units 1-6; block units 7-13”. Then the second semester would read, “Units 7-13; block units 1-6”.
The last unit of any 13 unit course is a cumulative course exam. If your student is only doing the last ½ of the course and did not do the first ½ of the course with OdysseyWare, you may only want to purchase units 7-12 instead of units 7-13, and skip purchasing the last unit 13, cumulative exam.
Example: 1-Semester Course = 5 units = $75
- 5 units at $15/unit = $75/semester; or 6 units at 15/unit = $90.
- Seat License:
Gives access to all courses for all grade levels for use by all students within one family.
- Families purchasing four or more OdysseyWare courses, should purchase a seat license instead of purchasing through E-cash. Seat licenses are more economical.
- Students in the family on a seat license must use the program sequentially, one student at a time, not simultaneously. Some families purchase two seat licenses so two siblings can use the program at the same time.
- $600 for each 12 month license.
- A seat license must be paid for in full. Payment may not be divided into semester payments.
Completing POs:
OdysseyWare PO’s are Service PO’s
In body of PO:
- Indicate “Seat license”, or “E-cash”
- If seat license, quantity = 1, unit price = $600 (per year)
- If E-cash, indicate on the description line the # units needed, and # units blocked
- If E-cash, quantity = 1, unit price = # units needed x $15 per unit = PO Unit Price (the PO unit price is to be the same as the total price)
- Name of course
- Course number
- ES Name and email
- Any other information requested in the PO Notes Box.
