2010 K12 Pricing
The 2010 K12, K-8 course pricing is available for grades K-8. We are currently NOT contracted for high school. ESs may do a fall semester PO for the first 1/2 of the course pricing. Then in November, as soon as the second semester funding is posted, ESs must do a spring semester PO and Online Order Form for the other 1/2 of each course price.
Failure to do a spring semester PO and online order form, could result in a break in service.
(Next May, do not order for 2011 using the 2010 online order form).
The online order form reflects special school-contracted pricing, that is NOT available from the vendor's website.
The online order form is not intuitive. Email Shelley Ross, curriculum@ieminc.org, or Kirstine Larsen, iemtraning3@ieminc.org, to complete the online order form and to obtain the pricing.

Student Drops:
If you have a student drop from K12, email PO Inquiries, poinquiries@ieminc.org, and Shelley Ross, curriculum@ieminc.org, who will notify K12 to stop billing for the OLS for that student.

Assess the Student
Before ordering, it is recommended that parents contact K12, for the directions on how to assess their child using the K12 online assessments in language arts and math. The results will help the ES order the correct grade level.
Parent will use the "Mastery Score Cheat Sheet" to help determine correct grade placement based on the student's scores.

How to Access the Placement Tests:

  1. Go to www.k12.com
  2. Click on ‘Resume Your Enrollment Process’
  3. You will then see an Account Log-In Screen
  4. Either enter current username/password, or create a new account
  5. The screen is split into 2 sections.  The left side is your (the parent’s) contact information.  The right side of the screen is where you can create your own username and password.  Remember to write down the username/password you choose so that you do not loose this information.

NOTE – Please create a unique Username and Password with your personal information.
Do not use the Demo Username and Password.

  1. Click Save – If everything is correct then the screen will read, “you have successfully created a new username and password.”
  2. Click Continue – log in using the username and password you just created
  3. Add your student’s information.  You are able to add multiple students to take the Placement tests.
  4. Select ‘Take Placement Assessments Only’ for the School.  This way you will be able to see the results of the tests immediately after completion
  5.   The test asks for your child’s birthday because they begin at an age-appropriate level and advance depending on skill level
  6.   Your child will be tested in Language Arts and Math.  Please keep in mind that your child may go through multiple tests before completing a Placement Assessment
  7. You are able to save the test and continue later, we recommend that you complete the test within three days.
