1.  Go to website: http://www.cahseeonline.com

2.  Log-in: 

• Username = first 5 letters of last name and first 2 letters of first name

(example: John Weaver = WeaveJo)

It is case sensitive! The first letter of the last and first name are capitalized

• Password = student ID
• Select subject (Math and / or Lang. Arts)

3.  Take the Diagnostic CAHSEE Pretests:

(Word Analysis, Reading Comprehension, Literary Response and Analysis, Writing Strategies, and Writing Conventions for Language Arts) and / or

(Statistics, Data Analysis, and Probability, Number Sense, Algebra and Functions, Measurement and Geometry, Mathematical Reasoning, Algebra 1 for Math)

4.  Complete all Focused California Standard Exams questions based on the pretest  

results.

5. If you have not passed the ELA portion, under Language Arts, select Writing

     Application, and complete all lessons

6.  Take the Diagnostic CAHSEE Posttest

Test Tools CD Version:

ü Check-out CD from Curriculum Library

ü Load onto computer

ü Begin use and return the CD; once loaded, it is not needed

ü Take the pretest results to tutor so that weak areas can be worked on

ü Reminder - Students can only work through the CD version once
