ROSETTA STONE ONLINE LANGUAGE PROGRAMS

   CWCS offers online access to Rosetta Stone. The yearly cost is $75 per student for all levels of one language until August 2010.  If your student finishes a level before the time is up, he/she may go on the next level. The program has modules available for 30 different languages.  If you change your mind about the language you chose, your ES may contact the administrator to change to another language.  Your ES will have online access to view your student’s progress.

Because this is an immersion program, students will:

    * Hear, write and pronounce words and match them to images

    * Speak aloud to finish sentences or phrases

    * Refine pronunciation by emulating native speakers

    * Complete review exercises to help transfer learning into long-term memory. 

    * Learn naturally with no translation or memorization.

    * Engage interactively and stay motivated with a range of activities and exercises.

    * Speak confidently and build conversational skills using speech recognition software.

    * Have fun—the program makes language learning accessible and enjoyable.

    * This is an excellent immersion program for English Language Learners too.

Under "choose your product" select "Classroom or Enterprise Version 3 (Rosetta Stone-hosted)".  You must have a High Speed internet connection (not dial-up) and a microphone headset.
