Utah Online has conducted a variety of parent workshops to serve as support parents as they school their children in this program.  While these were designed for Utah Online families, they are not Utah specific and can be used for others in K12 Virtual School Programs.  Please click on the recorded session links below to view the presentations. 

OLS BEGINNER

This workshop session will help you understand the basic features of the On Line School and how you can make them work for you.

TIME MANAGEMENT

This workshop is designed to provide a variety of tips, tricks, and ideas to help you structure your day and plan for your schooling.  Organizational and scheduling techniques are discussed.

HOW TO SCHOOL MULTIPLE CHILDREN

This workshop is designed to provide the family schooling multiple children with ideas and suggestions to better plan, prepare and structure your day.  This workshop also includes a section on how to school with a toddler in the home.  This workshop comes with a set of handouts that includes sample schedules.  You will find those handouts attached.
