To Change the Size of Your WEBfiles Screen
On a Mac computer
- Open you Citrix ICA Client Folder (probably in your applications folder)
- Drag
your File Maker ICA client icon onto the Citrix ICA Client Editor
- Click on
the “Default Settings” in the lower left hand corner
of the window that opens
- Click on "Connection Properties" tab
- In the “Windows and
Sounds” tab select the most appropriate
setting for your monitor (commonly 800x600)
- Click on "Save" (lower
right)
- Click on “Quit” in the File maker window (lower right)
- Open
your File Maker ICA client as usual. The window should be in the new size.
For a PC computer
- Right click on your FileMaker ICA icon
- Select Properties
- Select the Options Tab
- Select Window Size
- To change the window size from the default setting, clear
the Use default option.
- From the drop-down list, select a specific window
size for your ICA session or choose one of the following:
- Seamless windows:
Select this option to run your published application in a separate,
seamless window on your local desktop.
- Percent of Screen Size: Select this option
to configure the view of your published application as a percentage
of the total screen size.
- Full screen: Select this option to view your published
application in full screen mode.
Another strategy to use with the problem of not being able to reach
all parts of a window is to go (inside Citrix) to the “Window” menu
at the top of the screen and select “Cascade”. This should resize
all your windows to be within your reach. You can then maximize the window
for
the file in question to make it the right size for you screen.
