How do I get technical support for a student computer under warranty.
For PowerOn Computer Service - All PowerOn purchased computers have 3 year onsite warranties by a company called ServiceNet. All PowerON ServiceNet warranties start Day 1 (It takes up to 30 days for ServiceNet to put new product into their database, so technically they would be out within 45days of the initial purchase). For items that fail within the first 45 days please call PowerON directly and they will help the students/parents/ESs directly. The PowerOn service phone number is 1-800-673-6227 ext. 4. Please have your sales invoice on hand when you call.
Service Net - If you have a problem after 30 days have received the ServiceNet contract certificate contact Service Net. Have your sales invoice and ServiceNet contract on hand.Say that you have a Warranty with PowerOn Computer Services. This should alert them to the unique nature of our warranties with them. (Our warranties take effect 30 days after the purchase as opposed to the normal first year covered by the manufacturer.) If you are told that your computer Service Net warranty does not kick in until after one year, ask to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor who has special knowledge of our warranties is named Treasure, but any supervisor should be able to help. For Gov Connection Computer Service-All of the school's computers bought from Gov Connection should have a 3 year warranty. If family reports anything wrong with a system within 30 days, the ES(not the parent) should contact our Gov Connection representative, Keri Lampen, (800-800-0019 option 1, x 33137# ) with the PO#.
Gov Connection post technical phone# is: 1-800-800-0014 x6520. Serial# will be required. Call this number for any reason or if you are not sure where to call.
After the 30 days period, ( Parents or ES may) contact the computer manufacturer

What does Gov. Connection want, specifically, when a computer under warranty is returned? (Keyboard, mouse, manual, et al.?)
Everything needs to be returned. Please inform your families to keep all packing material, documentation and equipment that comes with the computer system.
What is the warranty on HP printers?
They come with a 1 year parts and labor from HP.( HP Tech Phone 1-800-752-0900)
