I am sorry that I missed you today. I hope that all is well and nothing has happened to you. Please call me as soon as possible at __________ (and give them the number that they can reach you at). I would like to do a learning record by _________ (and I put the 20^th day in this slot… if the day I am waiting to meet them is the 20^th day, then I put "tonight at 6:00 at my house" or whatever you want, but it has to be by the 20^th day.) If we are unable to meet by this day, then I will have to turn in a truant learning record. We have an appointment for __________ already set up, but if you can please call me, I'd like to come before that date if at all possible. If I have to turn in a truant record, you will receive a truancy letter from the school. If you contact me and we meet again, we can still record the learning that your child(ren) did this month on the next learning record and all will be fine; but if you miss your next appointment, then you will be dropped from the school.
