First Day Of Attendance

The first day of attendance must be the same for the Student Agreement, the attendance roll sheet and the electronic learning records. Please be sure that the first day of attendance is the same throughout all your record keeping. The first day of attendance may not begin until the day the Student Agreement is signed. The ES must keep a copy of the student agreement to track the student's start date.

Included here are the guidelines for determining the first day of attendance for each student:

-The first day of attendance for any student may not precede the date of the parent signature on the student agreement. It may be after that date but never before.

-The first day of attendance on the student agreement is the same date as the first day of attendance on the first learning record and the first attendance roll sheet.

-The first day of attendance must be a school day

-This first day may not be prior to the drop date of any other public or full- time private school.

-The first day of attendance must be determined by the ES and filled in on the student agreement.

-Student Agreements and other enrollment paperwork may be signed in anticipation of the commencement of attendance in this Charter School. If you meet with a family and sign paperwork BEFORE the first day of school, the first day of attendance will be the first day of the school track, not the day you meet with the family.

A student will be enrolled as of the date that all correct and complete enrollment documentation is signed by the parent.
