I am sorry that I missed you today. I hope that all is well. Please call me as soon as possible at __________ (and give them the number that they can reach you at). I would like to do a learning record by _________. (Put the 20^th day in this slot… or if it is the 20^th day, put "tonight at 6:00 at the library" or wherever you usually meet, but it has to be by the 20^th day.) If we are unable to meet by this day, then I will have to turn in a truant learning record and you will receive a truancy letter from the school. If you contact me and we meet, I can still record the learning that your child(ren) did this month on the next learning record and all will be fine. If I don’t hear from you by __________ (day 25) then I will have to send in a second truancy. This would result in your child(ren) being dropped from the school due to truancy. Please call me!
