Quicklaunch Elluminate for Dial up
Realize that dial up can work successfully but that it will be slower and some functions may not work optimally.
The downloads for this site are at the following locations. It is best to have someone with a fast connection download these files for you and then transfer them to your computer with either a USB or a disc. Dial up downloads will take a long time and may not be successful if they continually time out. Even providers like clear wire may have difficulty in my experience.
The first link is all you need. The others are extra or FYI.

4. You may see a note at the top where it says, "to help protect your security". If so, click it and allow blocked content and click yes to allow it. Now you will see this screen

Step 5: Click next to pre-populate
the cache. You will see this page next:

Step 6: On step 2, click where it says “click here”
in blue. This is very important as it
did not work without doing this step for one person.
Step 7: click “close this window” as
“join this configuration room” does not appear to be work anymore. After
this, you should not have to do these steps again as it should remember this
quick-launch set up.
Step 8: click your Elluminate link for your class as
usual. Be patient while it loads Elluminate for the first time. The first time
takes longer as it loads the program. Make sure your firewall is not preventing
it from loading and that you are allowing cookies in internet explorer/tools/internet
options/privacy/advanced/ accept cookies or at least prompt for this site.
It may be that letting them first
log in using a teacher Elluminate link will work better as they won’t have to
give name which somehow prevented one user from making it work. After using the teacher link once, the
student link worked just fine from then on.
This should not be required but is noted here just in case you run into
the same issue.
I hope this helps. Please contact me below if you need help:
