Finding your student usernames and passwords in Moodle

note: MoodleStudentSearch has been replaced with this faster and easier method.

1. log into Moodle

2. look under the bottom right heading in blue that says Students :

if your student is not listed there, then they are not in moodle yet or not connected to your account.  email jtinley@connectingwaters.org

3. Look at their full name.  There is a space between their last and first name. 
Their username is their STU_FirstLast and is not case sensitive (so c ap itals don't matter)

Their password is their first name which IS case sensitive (so capitals DO matter)

Please log into moodle with their username and password before you email me that it does not work. Most errors are due to students forgetting to use a c ap ital in their password.

If they have changed their password and have a working email in moodle then moodle will send them their password. 

Email Jamie Tinley if they need their password reset and don't have a working email in moodle.

Example for finding username and password at moodle:

STU_Smith John

Your student's username would then be:  STU_JohnSmith

Password:  John
