Elluminate Recording

Manual recording means you must start and stop recording yourself.  You know if it is on Automatic because it shows a red recording icon at the bottom when you enter with no other controls for starting or pausing it. Look at the manual recording snapshot below:

Under the microphone icon you see a red circle.  Clicking that will start/stop recording.  Clicking the two grey boxes next to it will pause a recording.  The icon next to the red circle on the left shows up as red when it is recording.  Manual recording, like automatic recording, may require you and your students to be logged off before it sends it to you which may take up to 20 minutes.  However, unlike automatic, manual will have a far smaller recording size to watch, especially if you use pause on all parts that are not useful for learning.  If you have any questions or would like to be on automatic instead please let me know.
