Quarterly Progress Report

These quarterly progress reports will comprise a total of 25% of the student’s overall grade for the course.  Please assign a letter grade based on your professional judgment according to the general guidelines listed below.  Complete the following information for each enrolled student and email to _________________on or before October 1, December 1, March 2, and May 1.  Thank you!

            At least 90% of the homework was completed, the answers are correct, and the student demonstrates or explains how a solution was obtained.  An A+ grade indicates exceptional quality in accuracy and in displaying the solutions in a step-by-step manner.  A grade of A indicates that solutions are shown with above average quality (some steps may be missing on some problems).  A grade of A- indicates marginal quality (few steps are shown; the steps are difficult to follow)

            80-89% of the homework was completed correctly, with a B+ indicating exceptional quality in displaying the solutions in a step-by-step manner, a B indicating above average quality, and a B- indicating marginal quality.

            70-79% of the homework was completed correctly, with a C+ indicating exceptional quality in displaying the solutions in a step-by-step manner, a C indicating above average quality, and a C- indicating marginal quality.
