In an effort to meet the demand for more math help, we are continually adding to our list of approved tutors. The CAHSEE approved tutor list can be accessed from the curriculum handbook: http://www.ieminc.org/handbook/NCLB/HQTCAHSEE.htm. This list contains both vendors and CWCS employees, and English as well as Math tutors. Tutors who are CWCS employees can be contracted for your students through Contract Program agreements. Directions for setting up a new Contract Program can be found at http://www.ieminc.org/handbook/cprograms/coursepoly.htm Purchase orders will not work for these individuals. Some of these tutors may also meet the HQT requirements. If the tutors are CWCS employees, contact Debbie Kutz for HQT status. A list of these Contract Program Math Tutors can be found below. These tutors are employees of CWCS (NOT vendors) and are available through Contract Program agreements (NOT POs). Fees vary according to level of experience, education, and traveling expense. (When setting up a contract program, you do not need the tutor’s “vendor number”. Leave this blank. Just enter their name and mailing address. Also, you will need to ask the tutor about their experience and knowledge level.
