Program resources will also be on display that will be held on our new reserve shelves.

“Middle School Holt”

All new middle school students are now being provided Holt’s student edition package that includes the Literature & Language Arts anthology and the Holt Handbook.  In this workshop we will preview these texts and discuss how to use the study-guide that has been created to go along with it.  We will also talk about the middle school Interactive Readers and how they can be used by students who may be working at a lower level.

“Working with high school students…a-g updates, online options, the lab science dilemma, and more!!!”

In this workshop, we will discuss UC’s new online vendor policy that is expected to take effect Fall 2008 and our plan for addressing the online vendor issue for this school year.  We will address the lab science issue and begin brainstorming ways to handle this in the years to come so that we can accommodate our growing population of college prep high school students. We will share ideas that will help you assist your students in developing a 4 year plan(and beyond) that includes personal goals, academic goals, testing, club participation, leadership opportunities, and volunteer work.
