is that each team member works for the good of the team.
Process
An ES should only
call the IEM office for issues that their advisor cannot help them with. When
an ES does call the IEM office they should be directed to the department who
can address their issue. After being directed to that department they will be
helped by that person if it is within their job responsibility. The ES will be
referred back to their Advisor only if it is the Advisor’s responsibility to
help the ES with that issue. IEM staff will follow through with the issue until
they are sure that it is being resolved in the proper department. The Advisor
will be informed if it is an issue that needs further training.
Parent Referrals to the IEM office
If a parent has a
question that is outside of the work responsibility of the ES and/or ES Advisor,
they can be directed to call IEM. They should not call if the information they
need should be provided by the ES and/or the Advisor. If a call of this type
comes into the IEM office, the call will be forwarded to the ESs and/or
Advisors work number, and/or an email will be sent informing you of the call
and your need to address it with your parent.
