ESs transporting students to testing:

ESs are now approved to transport students to and from a school test site who would not attend testing due to transportation issues.  (ESs should not transport students on school business at any other time for any reason!). If you will consider driving a student to a STAR test site if needed in your area, we need you to complete the approval process now (or before March 14, 2005). Mileage will be paid--details to come later.

1. Email your full name and CA driver's license number to: hr@ieminc.org, indicating that you would be available to transport students to STAR test sites.

2. Complete the school form: Volunteer/Employee Vehicle Usage-Transporting Students found at http://www.ieminc.org/genericforms/vehicleusage.pdf.  Attach a copy of your insurance verification form that shows these required minimum insurance limits (or higher) in effect on the dates of testing: Bodily Injury Liability $100,000 per person/ $300,000 per occurrence and Property Damage $100,000 per occurrence. Mail both to: HR Department, IEM, 1166 Broadway, Ste. Q, Placerville, CA  95667.

Applicants will be notified by HR if they are approved to transport students for CW.  Do not make arrangements to transport CW students until you have been notified of your approval!  Assessment will coordinate the students to be transported and make assignments for rides.
