Scholarships for College Bound Students!!!

 

The Ronald McDonald House Charities National Scholarship Program

awarded over $3 million in scholarships to seniors last year- and

they’re looking to do it again!

 

Four separate scholarships are available: Asian Students Increasing Achievement, African American Future Achievers, Hispanic American Commitment to Educational Resources, and Ronald McDonald Scholars.  Ronald McDonald applications are available on-line at http://www.rmhc.com/what-we-do/rmhc-u-s-scholarships/.  Application forms are to be accompanied by a high school transcript, a personal statement, a letter of recommendation, and a parent/guardian IRS 1040 form.  Personal statements should include information about the student’s community involvement, career goals, and desire to contribute to their community.  Scholarships are reserved for high school seniors who are eligible for attending a two- or four year-college, university or vocational/technical school.

 

Scholarship deadline is February 16, 2009!!!
