Test Tools

Test tools will only be available until 1/5/2010, and will not be renewed for use beyond that date.

If you have a new high school student that would like to use Test Tools up until 1/5/2010, please email Lori Freeman, and then pass on the following information to families and students….

Test Tools Student Directions:

1. Go to website: http://www.cahseeonline.com

2. Log in (NEW)

Username = first 5 letters of last name and first 2 letters of first name

(example: John Weaver = WeaveJo)

**It is case sensitive! The first letter of the last and first name are capitalized.

Password = student ID

3. Select subject (Math or Language Arts) and take the Diagnostic CAHSEE Pretests

(Word Analysis, Reading Comprehension, Literary Response and Analysis, Writing

Strategies, and Writing Conventions for Language Arts)

(Statistics, Data Analysis, and Probability, Number Sense, Algebra and Functions, Measurement and Geometry, Mathematical Reasoning, Algebra 1 for Math)

4. Based on you pretest results, select which area you need to practice in using the

Focused California Standard Exams. Complete all questions.

5. Under Language Arts, select Writing Application, and complete all lessons

6. Take the Diagnostic CAHSEE Posttest

7. Remember to do your personal best in all areas! Your ES can view your progress,

print completion reports, and discuss your results with you.
