Interpreting MDTP Scores

• The code in the upper-left corner of the answer sheet corresponds to these different tests:

PR40A04--Pre-Algebra Readiness

AR45A00--Algebra Readiness

GR45A06--Geometry Readiness

SR45A06—Algebra 2 Readiness

• In general, a raw score of 60% is a minimum necessary to indicate readiness. However, if a student is working above their grade level, a score of around 80% is recommended for advancement (eg. a 6^th or 7^th grade student taking Algebra 1).
• Contact Debbie Kutz, CWCS Math Specialist, dkutz@connectingwaters.org, if you’d like assistance interpreting the scores or placing your student.
• For a student who isn’t “ready” but needs to move on anyway, eg. an 11^th grader who hasn’t passed Algebra 1 yet, the MDTP report will show areas of strengths and weakness that can help to guide tutoring. To view the report in Edusoft, follow these instructions:
1. Log into edusoft.com using your username and password
2. Select the Benchmarks Exams tab
3. Select Reports from the icons under the Benchmark Exams tab
4. Select Student Performance Report
5. Type in your student’s first and last names. Click “Search”
6. Select your student from the list and click “Continue”
7. Select the Benchmark Exams tab
8. Select the test
9. Scroll down and select all of the options
10. Click “Next”
11. Review information and select click “Finish”
12. Choose a report format
