Assessment Information

Welcome to the IEM Schools Assessment site. You will find information on the state mandated assessments that we are required to administer as well as resources for further information on the individual tests. There is a general assessment calendar for the school year posted here to keep you current with test dates. As the testing dates approach, you will find details of locations, times, dates, etc. for each test posted. We respect your choices as the educator of your child, and also appreciate your understanding of our requirements as a publicly funded charter school. Please check back often as informaton is updated throughout the year.

CA Suggested Learning Obj. for Math based on scaled scores

CA Suggested Learning Obj for ELA based on scaled scores

The Scores: Quick Reference Guide is one of the documents that explain the acronyms for Scantron. It has other helpful information in the document to help clarify test score results.
The CA CST Regression is a graph that shows roughly what four digit scaled score your student would need to achieve in order for them to be able to perform a proficient 350 score on the STAR CST in Math and ELA.
The CA CST LA Plot/ Math Plot are two graphs that show both Language Arts and Math with the scaled score that would likely need to occur for the student to have the same student take the STAR and be in the proficient range. The graphs show a range from 50% all the way to 99% showing the probability that the scaled score would occur. The 50% C would be less likely of course than the 99%C which would be most likely that scaled score in the proficient range for STAR in terms of probability.
The California Growth Trajectory Table and Graph shows both in the areas of Math and Reading what scaled score the student would need to achieve by month from grades 2nd through 8th proficiency for that particular grade level. Notice that there are three different lines for each grade level on the graphs. The top red line shows the scaled score that would be above average for that grade level. The middle back line shows the scaled score that would be average for that grade level. The bottom red line shows the scaled score that would be below average for that grade level.
