What is EOC?

End of Course (EOC)

End of Course (EOC) tests are additional CST tests given during STAR testing to students in grades 7-11 that are participating in a year long course of study in a specific subject. These tests are in addition to the CST grade level tests that are included in their STAR test booklet. Not all students in grades 7-11 will be required to take an EOC. There is a set of criteria to determine if your student should take an EOC. We have our Education Specialists make this determination based upon the criteria because they know the student’s course of study the best. Be sure to study the criteria to determine if your student needs an EOC and then go to the ES Student Detail layout and select which EOC the student needs. Also, be sure to select “no eoc needed” for students in grades 7-11 if they do not need an EOC.
