CST – End of Course

Social Science Information

Students in grades 9-11 who have completed the World History course in the previous summer session or will complete it during the current school year.

· All students in grade 8 must take the grade-level CST for History-Science.

· All students in grade 11 take the CST for U.S. History found in the grade-level multiple-choice test booklet. For this reason we recommend that all students take U.S. History in their 11^th grade year. Some of these students will also take the EOC CST for World History.

· Students in grades 9-11 may take the EOC test for World History only if they completed or will complete a World History course in the previous summer session or during the current school year.

Student may retake an EOC CST for Social Science:

· A student retakes the CST for World History if the student completed the course during the previous school year and took the appropriate test but is now retaking the course during the current school year.
