Entering STAR Confirmation Data
The following is the process for entering STAR data into FRED:
*Assessment mails STAR confirmation letters to
students’ homes.
*The ES collects the letter and upon receipt of the signed STAR confirmation
letter, enters student data in the STAR assessment layout (Testing/click
on the students number/STAR/Concerns tab). Save all letters for collection
at a later date.
The following fields MUST be filled in:
1.Will student attend STAR testing?
If the "I have a concern" is selected,
click in the appropriate box of concerns and/or write in other concerns if
they are not listed. The
assessment department will work to resolve the concerns and will email the
ES with the resolution of the concerns.
2. Emergency contact #.
3. The following fields MAY need to be filled in depending on your individual
student:
- Parent will assist...
- Student could be a behavior problem...
